About the Speaker
Kerry Robinson is President and CEO of Catholic Charities USA. Kerry was the founding executive director of Leadership Roundtable and now serves as a member of its Board of Trustees. A member of the Raskob Foundation for Catholic Activities and FADICA (Foundations and Donors Interested in Catholic Activities), Kerry has been an advisor to and trustee of more than 25 grant-making foundations, charitable nonprofits and family philanthropies. Kerry served as the executive director of the Opus Prize Foundation which is responsible for an annual international million-dollar prize honoring people of faith whose lives are dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering. Kerry served as the director of development for Saint Thomas More Catholic Chapel and Center at Yale University and led a successful $75 million dollar fundraising drive to expand and endow the Chapel's intellectual and spiritual ministry and to construct a Catholic student center, designed by Cesar Pelli, on Yale’s campus. Kerry is the author of the prize winning book, Imagining Abundance: Fundraising, Philanthropy, and A Spiritual Call to Service. She is the recipient of 12 honorary doctorates and the recipient of the 2025 Laetare Medal from the University of Notre Dame. She and her husband, Michael Cappello, M.D., chair of the Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases at Yale School of Public Health, have two children, Christopher and Sophie.

Jesuit Friends and Alumni Network-Washington, DC (formerly known as the Loyola Club) gathers Jesuit-educated alums and friends for food, fellowship and inspiration. JFAN probes ways to apply Jesuit spirituality in our everyday lives and to use it as a means to strengthen our communities.
We bring together on a regular basis (3 times each year) leaders in the DC Community with a common bond of Jesuit Education/Ignatian Spirituality. Washington itself is home to Georgetown University, Gonzaga College High School, Georgetown Preparatory School, and the Washington Jesuit Academy. This city also is home to graduates from every one of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities and most of the more than 70 Jesuit high schools and middle schools in the United States, as well as members, representatives or alumni of Alpha Sigma Nu; Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA); Holy Trinity Catholic Church; the Ignatian Solidarity Network; the Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC); The Jesuit Collaborative; the Jesuit Conference; the Jesuit Secondary Education Association (JSEA); the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC); and the Loyola Club of Washington.
