¡Buen Camino! Stories of Travel, Faith, and Discovery
On April 13, 2025, the Jesuit Friends and Alumni Network of Cincinnati, in partnership with the St. Xavier Church Sunday Speaker Series, hosted ¡Buen Camino! Stories of Travel, Faith, and Discovery. The event featured a diverse panel of pilgrims, including Fr. Rick Millbourn, SJ (St. Xavier High School faculty), Mark A. Komanecky (Fairfield Prep, Boston College, Fordham, St. Xavier Church parish council), Mike Lacinak (St. Xavier High School alum, Bellarmine Chapel parishioner), Louise Stakelin (St. Xavier Church parishioner, Jesuit family connections), and Will Klare (St. Xavier High School alum, University of Dayton student), who shared personal reflections on their journeys along the Camino de Santiago. Through stories of travel, faith, and transformation, attendees were invited to reflect on how pilgrimage can shape hearts, deepen faith, and foster meaningful connections within the Jesuit community and beyond. A video of the event panel is available here.
On March 28, 2023, the inaugural JFAN Cincinnati event, “A Jesuit Walks Into a Bar…Sit-Down Comedy with Fr. Jake Martin, SJ” was held at The Redmoor. Father Eric Sundrup, SJ, co-hosted the event with more than 230 attendees.
